Peace Out

...but just for a few days, I hope!  :D

Due to a predicted nasty ice storm coming our way Thursday, I've had to up my move date (again, sigh).  So bear with me as I 'go dark' for a few, it's going to be hairy!

In the meantime, I have other news.  I stepped down from one of my CT's and I'm starting a guest spot with a seriously OUTSTANDING new designer next month.  So keep your eyes here for some really wonderful stuff.  The quality and design will blow your minds!!

I did one more challenge yesterday, I had thought to do more today, but, alas, the Fates have conspired against me.  teehee!  Enjoy this scraplift challenge starring my adorable newphew!

Sneaked in a Couple

Yesterday was crazy full of packing, but while breaking to nurse/snuggle G I knocked out a couple of challenge layouts for PDP.

Hopefully I'll get a couple more done today!

DigiSlacking?

Well... maybe a *little*, but I've been busy packing!  I have one week to try to get everything ready to move like 1600 miles away, and with 3 little kids (one of whom will go to school right up til the day we load up the trailer!) who need their 'things'... it's tricky!  But, I did manage to work up a layout today for you using Scrapberry Designs' ab-fab new kit Cutie Pie Valentine.  I seriously love this kit!

There are some absolutely awesome ellies in here for make-your-own Valentines, too, if you like to do that!  Hurry over to DSDI and grab this kit, it's 30% off through the weekend!!

Also, I made a free quick-page for you made from the above layout:

Grab it here. Enjoy!  :D

Please, Sir, May I Have Some More?

My answer?  Only always!!  :D

I did another layout with the bold and beautiful Always & Forever by Kat's Creations.  I just love the colors in this sweet kit!

I'm planning more work for later today, too, so hopefully I'll have more beauty to share with you!

Wednesday Yum-fest

I have got the coolest, amazingly-awesome-to-work-with new release from Brandy Designs to share with you today!  It was one of those rare and fantastic kits that seemed to put layouts together all by itself!  Look at the yummy goodness here:

Low-Key Tuesday

I don't have much to show you for today, but tomorrow I will have a gorgeous new release from one of my designers and no less than three layouts with it!  :D

Today I am working with a beautiful, colorful kit that is perfect for your Valentine's Day layouts, but is versatile enough to be used for pretty much anything!  Check this out, it's called Forever & Always by Kat's Creations, available at Kreative Kreations.

and here's my first layout with it:

Make sure you check out the rest of her shop, too, there are some really fantastic products in there!

Holiday Monday

Our income tax check came in and we were all agaggle to go cash it and take care of some business before we realized the bank was closed, the post office was closed... oops!  So tomorrow will be our running day for that.  I did go get some groceries today, and we bought our first reusable bags.  I was skeptical, they look so small and unforgiving... but I am a believer now!  We spent $168 on our run today (granted, there was a giant bag of dog food, one of cat food, a big thing of cat litter...) but still.  She fit everything in THREE of those bags except for the chicken!  And there were some big things in there, too, like the jumbo pack of wipes, and the jumbo pack of pull-ups, etc.  I am all about the reusable bags now!!  Yay!!

Just before we headed out the door I wrapped up the AAM challenge layout for PDP.  I hate doing AAMs.  But, here it is:

Sunday Running

I had to go 'bare bones' shopping, just milk, bread, butter, and some bins (for packing), but you know WalMart is like a time warp.   I've also been chasing the kids around trying to get them to clean, and doing dishes, that sort of thing.  So not a lot of scrapping has happened (yet) today but I did do a layout using my first ever 'tagger sized' kit.  It's surprisingly different, something about distortion and resizing, shadows are way off, too.  But I just used a soft photo edit and I think it looks pretty!  It's a gorgeous kit, check it out!Ribbons, Butterflies & Bows by Tezzas Tagger Scraps.

If you're a fan of Tagger Sized kits, she has an awesome selection of beauty for you in her shop!

Back to add in the 2nd layout I created with this yummy kit:

A Little Funny

Renault and Ford are working on a new small car for women.
They are mixing the Clio and the Taurus, and calling it the "Clitaurus."
It comes in pink, and the average male thief won't be able to find it, even if someone tells him where it is.

Random Saturday

I ended up turning in early last night, but the good news is I got a lot more packed than I thought I would.  So I worked on another layout with Baby Blues for you this morning.  I can't say enough what a tremendously gorgeous kit this is.  Here's the promised girly layout using it:

The title is for the lyrics challenge over at PDP.  You know how I love to kill 2 birds with 1 stone, haha!  But seriously, go pick up this kit, and while you're there, peek around her entire store.  I promise you'll be seeing me work with more of her stuff in the near future, it's amazing!!

And for the paper-to-digi challenge at PDP:

And for the one-word challenge, also at PDP:

Further Dabbling

I've decided to stick my toes in the pool of Quick Page making.  It's easier than I thought it would be!  I'm enjoying the heck out of it.  I even opened a 4shared account so that I can start giving away freebies here, how exciting!  Another first for this digiscrap dabbler!  :D

I made this QP using Z Pink Boudoir Designs' Dark Kiss, SO gorgeous!  I'm really in love with this kit.

And here is the QP I created with it:

You can grab it here.  Enjoy!

It's Not Even February Yet...

...and I'm already feeling red-and-pinked out!  LOL  So I chose this absolutely gorgeous kit by Tamsin McAtee Studios called Baby Blues.  It's blue enough for any boyish layouts, but full of pure beauty for those girly layouts as well!  Lookie lookie!

I have already created one layout with it, I love this kit and as soon as I can (I have to pack, QQ) I'm going to do a girly blue layout with it!  Here's my boyish one:

Hopefully I will get the other one before I turn in, if not, look for it tomorrow!  :D

Thank you, sis!

I was feeling unmotivated and uninspired last night.  I am still behind in my scrapping but I just wasn't feeling it.  Well, my darling sister-in-law instructed me to 'scrap, or I'll spank you!'   I suspect she really WOULD, too!  LOL   So, needless to say, I opened up my PSPX and got to work.  I ended up putting together my week 2 layout for the DSA Scrap-off.  I did not score well on the first week, which was disappointing (really, who doesn't want to do well?) but I honestly and truly do not want to win it (the prize is a guest-CT spot, which I'm not interested in, nor would I have the ability to fulfill it). I just hope to make a little better showing of myself!  So here's this week's, cross your fingers that I do better scoring-wise than last week!  :D

Fittingly enough, the photo is of the previously mentioned sister-in-law, on the day she married my handsome brother.  I love that they wore black and she carried such beautiful red flowers!!

I also did this week's Twisted Lift over at PDP.  Here it is:

So I got distracted...

Well, with the impending divorce and the upcoming cross-country move, can you blame me?  :D

I did finish up another layout with WackyWinnie Designz's beautiful Girly Girl.  Look at how soft and beautiful it is!

SO beautiful, I really love this kit!

Yikes, Wednesday Already?!

...I'm behind!  I'm going to have to work double-time to catch up! For now, let me share with you Polka Dot Pixels' new release this week, called Heartstrings.  Lookie lookie!

This is the kit I used to make a 2-page spread of my handsome brother and his beautiful wife, I just adore them!

Quiet Tuesday

I managed to work out another PDP challenge layout, oh, Polka Dot Pixels' new release tomorrow is SO yummy I did a 2-page spread with it that I can't wait to show you!  Other than that, I've been catching up on my hulu queue, and I'm getting ready to do a couple of baby Lily pages with a beautiful new kit by WackyWinnie Designz from Kreative Kreations.  Here are today's layouts (I'm sure I'll be editing in more later!)

Interview With A 4-Year-Old :D

I loved this week's journaling challenge at PDP.  We were to interview someone, and make a page about it.  Well, since G can't really carry on a conversation yet, and Z's at school, I chose my Lily.  Boy did she give me TONS to journal, haha!  Here's our layout:

kit: Early Birds by Brandy Designs and Trixie Scraps

And this evening I created a layout of my sister-in-law Alicia, but I can't show it to you until (say it with me...) Wednesday!  :D  But I do hope you'll come back and check it out, I'm very pleased with how it turned out.

Last Night

I did a couple more challenges at PDP, but it got late so I didn't post them.  Here they are:

kit: Sweet Sugar Love by Sir Scrapalot Designs

kit: Posing Pretty by Sunflowers Designs

We also had to take a photo that sort of describes our weather this week.  This is mine:

The sun was shining, the sky was the most beautiful bright blue.  It was still a little cool, but not so bad for a displaced Yankee like myself.  :P

Sunday Chores

...I'm almost caught up on them, but I took a break to scrap a page.  This is my brother and sister-in-law's puppy, Nitty.  I love her to bits, and I'm SO excited that we're moving back home, close to them again!  We'll get to see her (and her humans) often!  Yay!!   So here's to you, sweetie girl!  :D

kit: Day 2 Day by Scrapberry Designs

Hopefully I'll get time later to do some more scrapping, I have LOTS of PDP challenges still to do!

My First Ever!

I'm hostessing my first ever challenge, yay!  It's at Kreative Kreations, who opened on January 1st.  I opened the Color Challenge tonight, I'm so excited!!  I hope we get LOTS of participation!!

I've also linked up several kits by KK designers that contain one or more of the featured colors, in case you want something new!  So be sure to check out the shop while you're there!

Super Fun Stuff Today!

It just tickles me when I'm able to kill two birds with one stone, so to speak.  I was able to make a really gorgeous layout for PDP's template challenge, using Scrapberry Designs' latest gorgeous kit called Day 2 Day.  Check it out:

Then I did the Plum Mixture Challenge, and wound up with this:

Can you get scrapper's block?

With all the stress in my personal life lately, I feel like I am having a hard time making layouts that look decent.  Could I be suffering from some sort of creative block?  Or am I just being too hard on myself?  Hmm...  it's hard to say, I suppose I'll have to keep an eye on it.

For now, I've worked up another layout with Scrapberry Designs' gorgeous The Clock Struck 12 paper pack and element pack, part of the CAC over at ESS.  Here it is:

I also finally did my layout for ESS's mini-kit challenge.  They provide the mini, you use everything in it and make a layout.  Simple, right?  You tell me:

kit: Simplicity mini-kit by Missy's Bits

And lastly, I did this week's Twisted Lift Challenge over at PDP (there's a gift just for participating, be sure to check it out!)  I am well-pleased with the lift.

Too Stressed To Scrap?

...who me?  :P

In truth, ALMOST!  But I did manage to do one layout today.  I'm hoping more inspiration strikes tonight, so who knows, maybe I'll be back later editing in some more.  :D

But for now, here's today's work, made with Scrapberry Designs' beautiful The Clock Struck 12 paper pack and element pack, both part of the Create-Your-Own-Collab at ESS.

I went ahead and did my layout for DSA's Scrap-off.  I like how it turned out, and it was cathartic.  :)
