Prepping for Wednesday

I think I'm just about caught up, phew!   I did four layouts so far, but, you guessed it, some I can't show you til tomorrow!  Both of my PDP designers are releasing new kits tomorrow, two for Emily!  I still have a mini-kit challenge to do for ESS, and my DSA Scrap-Off 1st week layout... and I *think* that's it.  I did the lyrics challenge at PDP today, that's the only layout I can show you at this time.  Here it is:

I got to play with so many goodies today!  Of course, as per usual at this time of the week, I can't share many of them yet, but you know by now to come back and see me on Wednesday!  :D

For now, here's what I can share.  Remember that Brandy Designs is having a month-long 'Design-iversary' celebration on her blog?  Well, the name of the mega kit that she's releasing bit by bit is called Glittering Snow.  It's FANTASTIC.  I seriously can't get enough of it!!  Well, I did another layout with it today, here it is:

There is seriously SO MUCH in this kit.  Please stop in every day and pick up the pieces!  There will be lots of fun over the course of the month, and the blog team is just plain fun!!  So go, you've got nothing to lose!  :D

Challenges, Anyone?

I decided to focus on Polka Dot Plum's challenges today.  Usually I have them done before I go to bed the night they're released!  Haha!  But most of them were late this week, and I have been working feverishly to try to get some layouts for the designers at KK in time for the opening.... so today I worked on some of the challenges because I'd be so sad if noone participated and just sorta left the designers hosting them hanging.

Hopefully I can knock out a couple more before bed.  I actually took a break to *gasp* do some chores this afternoon!  Haha!  Laundry's all done save for folding the last load that's drying now.  One more load of dishes, and the pots and pans, and it's all good.  Yay.

What's New Today?

Well, I'll tell ya!  :D  Polka Dot Plum is releasing the 2nd installment of "Plum Pickins".  Basically every month the designers all get a color swatch and create something that matches it, so we the customers can 'build our own' collab.  It's fantastic!  I am in LOVE with the color scheme this month, and Brandy's gorgeous contribution, called Hot Cocoa.

It's got quite a good bit in it for a 'mini', just look at what I did with it:

There are some seriously beautiful contributions from other designers, too, so be sure to check it out!
