Wednesday Means Goodies at PDP!

And, boy, are we gearing up for an AMAZING September (and beyond!) at Polka Dot Plum!  Not only do we have Scrapzillas going on (and really, if you haven't checked this out yet.... what the heck is wrong with you?!)  There are only 4 challenges, they're designed so that ANYONE can win, and the prizes?  HUGE!  Why not pop on over and check it out?

September is also PDP's Birthday Month.  Can you believe we'll have been open a whole year?!  Time flies when you're having fun, and we DEFINITELY have fun at the Plum.  :P

This week I have a bunch of yummy goodness to show you!  I worked with a couple of new releases, two by brand-spankin-new (and ROCKIN) designers!  Check these out:

Studio H2 is opening up with a couple of remarkable hand-drawn kits.  These are seriously quite unlike anything else I've ever worked with, and what a refreshing difference!!  I'm in love, that's all there is to it!  *hehe*  I had the pleasure of working with this one, The Doobleys Fall In Love.

Awwww!  I thought I was going to have to do a page about one of my brothers (they both have successful love lives!) but I found the kit to be much more versatile than that!  So, I did one about my son's kitty:
journaling reads:
So this one Saturday we were heading into WalMart for our weekly shopping trip.
Standing outside the door where you normally see people holding fundraisers, there was a woman
looking for homes for her kittens and puppies. There were all different colors, and I had been
wanting a new kitten for Zack because his Chewie had gotten out and never come back. He was
thinking of one of the black ones, but in Spook, we already had a black cat. So I steered him
towards this silly looking little calico (in memory of Mindy) and it was love at first sight. She knows
he is her boy. She mothers him. I call her 'Nanny cat' because she is so tuned-in with people's
feelings. We sure did get lucky that day, and she was worth the wait for Daddy to come pick her up
and take her home so we could shop, even in the 100-plus degree Oklahoma heat.

Next I had the absolute joy of working with PDP's other brand new designer, Rhonda Sunflower Designs!  Her kits are full of rich, deep colors that are sure to please!  I worked with Some Like It Hot, and did not one but TWO pages with it!

And, I had the chance to work with one of my all-time favorites this week, Berry Sweet Designs.  Her products are so soft and beautiful, elegant, and of amazing quality.  Her templates are my absolute go-to for white-space/minimalistic layouts.  LOVE!  I worked with her new kit {sweet} girl and (as always) LOVE the results!

My page features my beautiful niece Jordan:

There are many other FABULOUS new releases today, too, check them all out and fill your cart for 20% off, today only!  :D
